‘Boere-musiek Koning’, Ollie Viljoen, performs ‘Stoepstories’ in Mossel Bay

Good news for good old Afrikaans music fans – Die Burger has included Mossel Bay on its national Die Burger Kersfonds music tour. The much-loved “boere-musiek koning” Ollie Viljoen and guests will be performing their acclaimed show, “Stoepstories” at Garden Route Casino’s Bravo Lounge on the 28th of December 2013.

This entertaining show at the Bravo Lounge, combines music and stories from “Maak n Las” and “Spies en Plessis”. Locals and holidaymakers are urged to come down to enjoy and afternoon of fun, dancing and laughter. Tickets cost R100 and are available through Computicket. Doors open 13h00 and show will start at 14h00.
A portion of the proceeds raised through ticket sales will be in aid of Die Burger’s Kersfond which was established in 1957 to support and accommodate underprivileged young children in the newspaper’s distribution area. This year Die Burger is hoping to raise R1,3 million rand to support this cause.
